Shock absorbing design and progressive flex make the Roxa Men's Freebird 8 Ski Boot your bomber boot for the park, pipe, or backcountry kicker. Like the world's best sports cars and wines, these puppies are Italian. Now an Italian boot isn't necessarily better than a boot made elsewhere, but the Freebird does have some of that Italian swagger, making it ready to rip the mountain top to bottom. This three-buckle boot gives you the intuitive feel you need for adding style points to those 540s while still providing the control necessary to charge hard and fast on your way to the park.
The Freebird's Cabrio Design is composed of three pieces: the shell, cuff, and tongue. These all work together to provide a responsive fit and support and lateral stability of the foot, while the wide 104mm last gives comfort and control on every trick. Roxa's medium 80 flex gives you just enough forward and backward movement while skiing, and the anti-shock wedge inside the shell absorbs shock when you go big and land on hardpack. RoxGrip anti skid rubber on the bottom of the boot, between the heel and toe, provides you with superior traction, preventing slippage while hoofing it to your kicker or climbing stairs during an urban rail session.
