Description

Skate it out.

Leaning more towards the sport classification, the Rossignol Zymax Skating NIS Ski provides an ideal equilibrium of weight, rigidity, and stability that pairs well for those who are focused on improving their form, and even for some light racing. If this sounds like your skill set, Rossignol's LDC Premium core will provide you with the forgiving level of flexibility that you need. And while this adds some weight to the plate, you still land within a couple hundred grams of the venerable X-ium WC 1. You'll also receive the same K7000 base tuning, Double Groove stability, and Active Cap construction that's found on Rossignol's top skate offerings. So, you don't have to sacrifice speed and precision for the sake of comfort.

  • Rossignol's LDC Core features a relatively light weight and a basalt fiber reinforcement for a durable flexibility
  • Double Groove base creats stability for confident tracking throughout numerous positions
  • Racing Cobra sidecut shape uses a wide tip and tapered tail for reliable fluidity at the end of the glide
  • NIS System uses a factory-bonded plate on top of the ski to give you an integrated mounting point for NIS-compatible Nordic bindings like the F4 Skate NIS binding from Rossignol
  • For total compatibility, be certain to pair the bindings with NIS- or NNN-compatible boots like the Rossignol X-8 and X-10 Skate

I would recommend this to almost any non racing skier. The camber is excellent i haven't put many days on them only 20 or so but the camber is still super springy. I don't know how the double groves on the base help but they don't make skiing more difficult. A few things that could be improved: These seem a little heavy and the tip shape was kind of annoying because it is higher profile than most skis in this price range. I would however recommend them over the atomic team skate.
