When you charge straight into hairy terrain like Xavier de la Rue, missing your line isn't an option, so your bindings had better be responsive. That's why Rossignol teamed up with Xav to build the XV snowboard binding. Starting with HCX33 base plate, Rossi added MagneBed S3R footbeds. They're canted 3 degrees to align your legs, and they've got a bunch of padding to smooth out harsh snow conditions. Then it got a 3D AsymWrap highback, with Heel Grip inserts for added response. The cushy 40-ounce straps fight hot spots, and they're held tight by AsymLight aluminum buckles with Xtra Grip padding. If you demand response, the XV's have got what you need.
