Poorly-fitting shoes are OK if you're spending an evening rolling gutter balls at the bowling alley, but you need a dialed-in fit if you're going to smoke those clowns standing next to you during the mass start. Designed to satisfy the needs of top racers with lower-volume feet, the WC LVF has an NNN-compatible X-celerator Skate sole that's light, torsionally rigid, and sits low to the ski to provide top-level power, stability, and ski control at high speeds. It also provides an amazingly high-performance fit for smaller-hoofed folks, thanks to a thermo-adjustable polyester liner and a precise, easy-to-use double-lacing speed lace system that allows you to lace your mid- and forefoot independently, enabling a super-snug World Cup fit that doesn't sacrifice comfort. A friendly fit doesn't mean unnecessary bells and whistles, though, as this WC LVF weighs in at 50g lighter than previous iterations.

The hits don't stop there. A micrometric ratchet system provides allows you crank down the fit as tight as you want, and the 3D Carbon upper cuff acts as a spring, transmitting energy into the ski by acting like a spring, releasing energy every time you weight and unweight it. Rossi made the lower cuff and lace cover of water-resistant PVC, and the latter has an asymmetrical zip closure to increase comfort. Internal 3D plastic reinforcements help create a strong heel pocket to keep your foot locked in place, and lateral carbon supports prevent energy loss from unnecessary sideways foot movement, instead transferring power forward and down into the ski.
