Rossignol is throwing a Ladies Only rocker party, and your emcee is the new 2010 Voodoo Pro BC110 ski. Forged in the same mold as the men’s S7, the Voodoo Pro has all the tools you need to dominate the mountain without requiring a square inch of black leather or a single stiletto heel. And don’t be scared by its big dimensions either, gals, because the Voodoo came to play. Rocker at both ends lets you twist and shout in the deepest powder on Earth, while traditional sidecut and springy camber hide underfoot, ready at a moment’s notice to drop Euro-carves on the groomers or zipper through a mogul field. Nimble and forgiving in the trees yet rock solid at speed, the Voodoo Pro BC110 is a confidence-boosting, smile-inducing charmer that will leave you satisfied every single time.
Bottom Line: Did we mention it looks good too? Snap.
I rock Marker Griffons on my S7's (basically the same ski) but any of the Royal series will work, or the Rossignol FSK series if your a hard chargin chick. Which most gals who ride this beauty are. If you want something less beefy..Go for something from Salomon, just make sure you've got wide enough brakes to clear these voluptuous girls.

Demo-ed these babies on a powder day in Washington... didn't want to give them up. Handled moguls like none other, great spring for jumps, and cut new tracks without missing a beat.
Hey Kristen, We had 5 in earlier this year. My guess is we will get some more of the 2010/11 model in this fall. Check back closer to then. As for getting more if this year's model..I don't think you'll get that lucky.
I've been on these almost every day since I bought them, skiing all over the mountain and some backcountry. they do just fine on groomers: super grippy side cut but take a bit more effort to turn over on their wide bases (not bad, just takes getting used to). and yes OUTSTANDING in pow!
I'm wondering about what length I would want in a powder ski. I am female, 160-165 lbs. and 5:5. I'm strong and pretty aggressive on groomers and ski a volkl tierra in 163 length and also Salomon threats in 161 with a center mount binding. I used the Threats last week in Utah to start learning how to ski trees and bumps. I am just learning powder and am pretty ugly on it as yet. (Especially on my Volkls and Salomons :-) ) These are one of several skis I'm interested in. I want a floaty ski in powder that is also nimble and quick enough for bumps and trees. And I want a ski I won't advance out of too fast or at all. I tried my first powder ski, the K2 Phat loves in 153. It was okay but I'm guessing I'd need a longer ski. I wonder at what point does a pow ski become too long for trees/bumps, and what about rocker? What say you?
First, this is a top of the line womens' powder ski designed for the most aggressive female skiers. That being said and with your height, you will not advance out of this ski. As per the length, either the 166 or 176 will be good. It basically comes down to preference. A longer ski will help float in powder, the shorter ski will be a little lighter and nimble. Keep in mind that the rocker, while making powder skiing really easy also makes the ski ski shorter and therefore you usually want to size up with a rockered ski. That all being said, my best advice, try and demo the 176's and if they feel too long, size down and get the 166's.
what is the difference between the system and the voodoo bc pro 110 besides dimensions? i am a female aggressive/expert telemark skier and am leaning towards the system, but is there an advantage to being female and skiing these specific ladies skis?
I want to use this as my backcountry ski. I was on a 166 previously for backcountry that felt too short and flimsy (but it was also 88 underfoot). My regular ski is 174 and 98 underfoot, but it feels a bit too long in the trees sometimes. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs. Because of the rocker, does it ski a bit shorter than a 176? I'm torn between the two lengths. I want a ski that I can charge on, but I don't want to have to work really hard ALL the time. Does this make sense? Any thoughts out there?
The rocker will help the skis float more in deep snow. Since the ski is very wide (110 at the waist) they will still be a little slow going from edge to edge which makes them turn a little bit slower. While a shorter ski can correct this somewhat you should definitely try to get out on a pair of these before making a purchase.
THIS NEEDS TO BE CLARIFIED The above answers are incorrect. This ski does chance shape and dimensions in the smaller sizes. The 176 is the size and shape represented in the product listing.
176: 140-110-118 166: 136-105-114 159: 124-96-114
I just picked up the 159 for my girlfriend and these are NOT the S7 shape. They are based off of the S3 mold- there is no hourglass shape on the tip and it does not have the typical S7 pintail. In otherwords, the 159 is a COMPLETELY different ski. I can't speak to the 166 other than the provided dimensions above.
hi what size skis would be better for me the 166 or 176. I am 5'7'' 132pounds . they would be a second pair off skis for me for the power days, trees, backbowls.
I'd definitely recommend the 176s. They ski short because they're rockered. I'm 5'7", 115 lbs, and an aggressive skier and I find even the 176s a bit short.
If you consider yourself a good skier, and can ski fairly powerfully, then for sure as a powder ski I would say the 176. Longer is always nice for deeper snow. If you aren't an aggressive skier, than the 166 might feel more comfortable to you.
The S7 in size 176 is actually the same dimensions 140-110-118, it's the size 188 S7s that are 145.4-115-123. So at 176, the two skis are the same, just a different top sheet.
The 176 is actually 110 underfoot, so not the same size as the S7. If I am not mistaken Rossi made it for women, and didn't just shrink it and pink it.
