A one-quiver all-mountain ladies' ski.

The Rossignol Women's Temptation 88 Ski takes you from powder to crud to moguls to corduroy ... and back again. A truly balanced all-mountain ladies' ski, the Temptation delivers exceptional performance in every snow condition for every type of skier.

Thanks to the Temptation's Auto Turn Rocker profile, this ski allows for a more versatile, easier skiing experience in a wide range of snow and terrain conditions. Camber underfoot delivers stellar power, energy, and edge-grip on hardpack, dicey terrain, or in East Coast conditions. With a subtle rocker at the tip and tail, the Temptation steers, carves, and turns easier, supplies effortless speed control, and offers maximum versatility.

The Cascade Tip (varying shapes of metal and/or fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths) controls tip torsion which, in turn, smooths out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. And to top it off, this sweet design gives you a lighter tip that improves swing weight for quick and adaptable turn initiation.

For improved durability, power, and stability, the Temptation features a wood core with a basalt fiber laminate, while its sandwich sidewall construction applies direct pressure to the ski's edges for increased precision and edging power. And its Extended Sidecut technology enables you to engage the ski more efficiently at high speeds and during increased edge angles. Basically, Rossignol's engineers pulled out all the stops on this one to make it one of the strongest all-purpose skis on the market.

Christmas Came Early

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these for myself as an early Christmas present this year. I have been up on them four days so far this year. Two of which were powder days. And I can honestly say I love this ski.
The quick turning ability took some getting used to, and the speed they like to carry everywhere on the mountain has been an adjustment in the bumps. I tried to ride farther back on them to push them through some of the powder and bumps/glades, but soon learned that if I just stay in them and look ahead for my turns, they have plenty of confidence and ability to make quick decisions, speed checks and whatever else I may need to feel completely in control.
I love the speed they carry on a groomer and their ability to push through the crud and not loose control when hitting a patch of ice. I was warned that as a auto turn rocker, they may not hold carves as well, however I found the opposite was true! The edge held just fine in both long and short carves.
Overall I am very pleased with my decision to purchase this ski, (they are definitely a step up from my BC Scratch), and I cannot wait to have fun on them for the rest of the season!
