Just about the time you near the speed of sound while wearing the Rossignol B-Squad Pro 130 Carbon Boot, this World-Cup-worthy boot might tap you on the ankle and ask for a little more juice. And what's wrong with that when you're buckled into a burly 130-flex last that was pulled directly from the race course and laced with carbon fiber reinforcements? You'll even find a few freeride-specific additions like Vibram soles that provide increased traction and arch-shaped soles that increase boot flex for superior feel of the terrain. Frothing at the mouth yet?

  • Sensor technology means the liner sits in direct contact with the shell at vital points to create a responsive fit
  • A Pro Fit Liner fits the shell like a glove to provide a seamless toe box that eliminates pressure points, a soft instep pocket for increased circulation, and pre-shaped padding that resists packing out
  • A neutrally aligned stance gives skiers a stable and efficient platform to power the ski
  • The carbon cuff increases fore, aft, and lateral support while transmitting your forward energy directly to your bindings and skis

Bottom Line: Who's afraid of a big, bad boot?

Great fit, stiff in right places, too much forward lean

By:

I would have really liked these boots except for the forward lean being excessive. The fit is almost race-fit but no pressure points and confortable. The boot feels 130. Unfortunately, it puts me much more forward than I like (I actually had really sore calves after a couple of days--which is rare for me) and it is not adjustable. I'm sure it is perfect for some people. Anyhow, I am going back to the Salomon Ghosts, even though they are a pain to put on. Oh, and I really do like the vibram soles on these Rossis.

this boot has a 98mm last which refers to the widest part of the shell. i believe this model is the 10-11 or 09-10 boot.

Awesome boots...

Took them out for the first time yesterday... NICE! Strong boots with great support in the bumps and can easily power through the turns. Comfortable all day and kept my feet warm in 20 degree weather.

Ok gang. Old (~50 yrs) ex-racer (Nor-Am level) skiing on ancient Tecnica 130s that I hate. They are too small (sensibly need to gain a size since race days) and too narrow in the toe box (EE would be best for me). They 'were' responsive, stiff enough (barely) and had about the right heel/forward lean when they worked. Is this Rossi the boot for me? Oh, I don't care to race any longer. Mostly I like to rip around in the powder, trees, and various crudm in Colorado and Europe. On the 'run' is not where I am found very frequently.

this boot is definitely a very stiff and responsive boot. the carbon cuff does an excellent job of eliminating all rearward flex. this boot does have a slightly more aggressive forward lean than most boots but once you get used to it you will find that the lean automatically puts you into an athletic stance on your skis with knees slightly bent and your weight on the balls of your feet. also, this fit of the boot allows more than average room in the toe box compared to other 98mm lasted boots. overall, it is a very powerful boot that will take you anywhere on the mountain.

Any boot will work with any ski and any binding. The important part is the way it fits your foot.
