Follow in the footsteps of Rossignol's park and pipe pros and take your skills to the next level when you session the park on the twintip Scratch Ghetto Ski. Own the pipe, and then charge the rest of the resort when the park entrance chokes on beaters. Featuring Rossi's Weight Reduction System (WRS), the Scratch Ghetto spins effortlessly for clean 7's, 9's and 1080's in the pipe. With Rossignol's buttery-smooth THC2 wood core, the Scratch Ghetto ski gives you all the power and feel you need for amplitude in the park, as well as hard-charging stability for the rest of the mountain. The Scratch Ghetto's 30-degree slanted sidewalls improve swing weight, and transmit power right into the ski's edge so you can hold a tight line no matter how icy the pipe.

Bottom Line: The Rossignol Scratch Ghetto Ski—for those dedicated to the park and pipe.

Hey im 5' 9'' 130lbs, is the 167 a good size. This is the first twintip im going to buy. I'm not lookin to hit big jumps just a stick that can handle rails, boxes and small to medium sized jumps. And would this be a good ski for all-mountain, not just the park

Hmm, yes! These skis arent that heavy either, unless you put on them Look px 18's (bindings). I do recommend these skis because they're kind of wide. I'm not too sure about the height though, ft and cm mixed together gets me confused. The tip of the ski should be approximately to your cheek. Go check with your local ski seller.

I used these for 12 days already from 9 to 4 and hitting jumps with these and last years scratch boot is a ease. These skis are great. Got lots of pop to them very easy to land on and has a great weight to it. Bottom line here buy em'!

Fun ski, bad company

By:
March 23, 2009

I loved this ski, it is soft without being sloppy. Its lightweight and still stable at high speeds. It a fun ski for all over the mountain.

BUT..... The tail base and edge peeled off slightly after a minor fall. I sent them to rossi through my local shop and figured that they would fix them quick or even replace them. I was wrong. It took them 1 month before they notified the shop that they had received the skis and another month to fix them. When I finally got my skis back, a good part of the season was gone. The repair was pretty crappy and seemed like a 5 minute epoxy job. It has recently come undone and I plan on sending them back to rossignol again... after the season is over.

I like this ski but, I will never buy from rossignol again. It seems like their quality and service has really dropped off in recent years.

They are both great skis. You can't go wrong with either one. Should handle it all for you. If you havent got skis yet i had the same problem the K2 PE's i think are a medium flex meaning stiffer. The ghetto's are softer but not noodles. There amazing skis I love them but i havent heard much about the PE's so. My advice is the Scratch ghetto.

A Fun Allround Ski

By:
January 29, 2009

I bought these skies for a Christmas present for myself and finally tired them out. They handle great and are fun skies to ride on. My normal skies I ride on are B2's. These definitely don't compare on that level, but they are a good all around ski, especially at that price. Normally I would recommend demoing a ski before buying it but if you can't I would still recommend these for a second pair of skies.

On a side note I am not a person who hits the park up doing 1080's or constant rails. I can not speak for everyone but if your like me who spends only 25% - 40% of the time in parks these should work fine for you.
