Scratch 120 Composite Wide Brake Ski Binding

Rossignol's Scratch 120 Composite WB Binding is made for park riders and aggressive freeriders who want a flat-mounted binding. The DIN setting covers the range of 3.5 to 12 which safely accommodates a wide array of riders. The new Rossignol binding heelpiece increases stiffness 40% over their old design—this translates into less power loss and more responsive skis. The heelpiece still has more elastic travel than almost any other binding on the market, which means you have more time to recover from a fall before the binding ejects. The wide brake fits powder boards with a waist of up to 100mm.

Bottom Line: Save your knees, and bash the turns.

Good so far

No problems so far. I haven't been in a situation yet where I've needed them to release. Easy to get in and out of. Very similar to my power 120s.

Good match to the B4

The scratch 120's seem to work very well with the Rossi B4's. The only complaint is that they are a little hard to release when the day is over.

Best Binding w/ a din of 12

By:

Look/Rossignol bindings (they share the same design, just different paint) are simply the best bindings out there, IMO. They offer a lot of lateral travel; this makes them excellent expert bindings for situations where a ski popping off means injury. The heelpiece is also excellent for stepping in in soft snow; if it is too deep, just reach down and pull the heel piece up, and you're in.

Bottom line, they're great.
