Designed with a Power Turn Rocker profile, the Saffron maximizes your experience in natural snow and deep powder. Its progressive rockered tip delivers effortless floatation in powder and minimizes 'tip flap' in variable snow, while the powerful rockered tail is tapered for easy steering in powder and instant speed control. Thanks to its camber underfoot, the Saffron provides power, energy, and edge grip for superb performance on groomed snow, hardpack, or in icy snow conditions.

The Saffron's sidecut features a unique tapering of the tip and tail with short sidecut directly underfoot which provides for a deep radius that gives edge grip and power underfoot while its short sidecut supplies easy steering and playfulness. To help reduce weight, Rossi gave the Saffron an ultra-lightweight Paulownia wood core which makes it more agile, easier to maneuver, and easier to use for touring while still providing powerful downhill performance. Its sandwich sidewall construction also applies direct pressure to the ski's edges for increased precision and edging power.
