Raising a well-rounded ripper requires a ski that spins in the park, bombs groomers, and rips steep, deep chutes. The Rossignol Kids' S7 Pro Freeride Ski gives your spastic skier the control and versatility to move up the ranks in all aspects. No matter what the weather does, there's always something for that rad rascal to do on the mountain because of the S7 Pro's crud-busting dimensions and park-and-pipe-clutching edge-ability.

  • Wood core delivers a natural-feeling flex to aid style development and provides rebound and strength for hard park snow
  • Mini Cap construction features 30-degree sidewalls to reduce weight and sturdy fiberglass laminates that are incredibly durable for jibbing or shredding steeps
  • Power Turn profile sports a traditional camber underfoot for maximum stability, edge-hold, and pop
  • Extended sidecut equals enhanced contact with the snow and better control during high-speed powder turns or runs through the pipe
  • The rounded Jib Tip aids transitions in the park or pipe and enables easy switch-skiing performance

Bottom Line: An all-encompassing 'tweener' ski for on-piste, off-piste, and pissing you off once you're left in your kid's vapor trails.

11 y/o Alta Girl

My 11 y/o daughter tried a pair of the S7 Pro's up at Alta last weekend. We are looking for something for next season as she has physically outgrown her 139 K2 Bad Seeds. The S7 is a little fatter than the Bad Seed (90 vs 85 underfoot) but isn't an overwhelming change. Snow was 3-4 days old but we got a good sense of their performance. Held an edge on the groomers really nicely. "I have my edges back"--after switching out from a pair of pure powder ski's. She handled the cut up junk nicely, commented that she didn't get pushed around quite as much as on her K2's. She's not super aggressive but is very capable and is now skiing the entire mtn w/ me. Should be a great ski for the next 2 or 3 years as she continues to improve.
