- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The individual compartments work well for a larger ski team and very well for dividing classic and skate skis. Be aware that once the pockets are full you need two people to lift the bag. The two end straps are rugged and make that lift a little easier, but this bag is not designed for one person to handle easily.
Toblerone ski bag
I haven't taken this bag on a plane yet. I just bought it to replace an ancient old ski bad. There isn't much padding, but when then bag rolls out flat there are compartments for 4 sets of downhill skis or numerous sets of xc skis. the bag rolls up into what appears to be a large Toblerone chocolate bar. each compartment has waterproof lining so you can pack skis and also pack some clothes in the bag. the bag is HUGE so you can stuff clothes on each end of the bag to maximize luggage. the bag is rather long so carrying it may be a challenge if its super heavy. all in all, so far i love this bag but again haven't really used it yet. **If you plan on using this bag for travel take into consideration the weight limits for your bags. I loaded this up for 4 sets of skis, 3 sets of poles and a few bits of clothing and it was way over 70 lbs....oops. it did fit everything very well, but for a short stump lugging around a 70+lb bag, wheels would have been nice.
