High performance freestyle demands a burly, responsive binding, and the Rossignol Cuda snowboard binding comes to mind. It's built on the same HCX33 base plate as the hard charging XV binding, and it's mated to a more flexible 3D Contour Light highback, with Heel Grip inserts for added response. Rossi then added MagneBed S3R footbeds, which are canted 3 degrees to align your legs, and they've got a bunch of padding to smooth out harsh snow conditions. The cushy 40 oz. straps fight hot spots, and they're held tight by AsymLight aluminum buckles. They're everything you need, without any of the frivolous extras.
