hella sick

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are pretty good bindings. The actual realeease is quite good. I have not had much trouble with pre release. MY only issue is with the break. It kept getting stuck so it would not stop the ski. And then eventualy the spring snapped through the top of the brake and I could not use my skis tell I removed the brake. Now I just have to use leeshes. it is okay.

Great Bindings

These bindings are great, i mounted them on the 2012 Volkl Shiro JR, i am 5,1 110 pounds.
The bindings are very burly. ( good for resort hucking ) Since the have no middle plate it allows the ski to flex better.

Good no-nonsense binding.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Besides a suitable DIN range I was not too sure of what to look for in a binding. These bindings were a good price and I could not find a negative review so I went for it and it ended up paying off. The bindings feel very solid and are relatively easy to step in and out of. They also keep my boot rather close to the ski/snow which translates to a much more natural feel while going down the hill.

Will these fit on 166 Salomon Czars? I hear they don't like to bend the brakes too much.

Hello,
I was wondering if these would work on the salomon shoguns and i am not a junior skier. I am an advanced skier that weighs about 130lbs. would these bindings be able to work for me?

Best Answer Responded on

These would fit on the salomon shogun just fine because the shogun has a 100mm waist. They would work for you even if you are an advanced skier as long as you don't ever put your din setting above 8. If you go above 8 I would recommend the 12 din version.

Hi,
Just wondering if either this binding or the Rossignol Freeski 110 XL Downhill Ski Bindings is compatable with a Rossignol race plate?
If so, do you ship to New Zealand? & How much?
