Aggressive all-mountain skiers, rejoice when you slide your feet into a pair of the Rossignol AllTrack 120 Ski Boot. Its on-trail performance, freeride versatility, hike/walk capability, rockered soles, and superb fit provides a boot that slays groomers, bootpacks into the resort's back bowls, and ventures into tight, techy terrain for some heart-stopping turns. A stiff 120 flex index works exceptionally well for experienced skiers looking to shred the entire resort from top to bottom while a 102mm last provides a performance fit for most skiers.

Thanks to the AllTrack's Sensor Grid technology on upper and lower shells, this unique design improves shell wrapping and reduces boot weight while retaining high-performance torsional rigidity for improved power, precision, and energy transmission.

In addition, its Optisensor 3D Thinsulate liner features strategically placed materials in three-key fit zones to maximize the interaction and fit between the foot, liner, and shell. Its softer ankle and instep areas increase comfort and foot wrapping, while a stiffer heel cup provides superior heel lock, thus increasing support and control for enhanced performance. And to top it off, Thinsulate lining increases warmth for all-day comfort and provides an impressive out-of-the-box fit with unparalleled performance.

To help ensure an easy entry and exit, Rossignol designed notches in the plastic along the instep for improved on-and-off comfort without compromising its four buckle overlap boot performance. And if you're the type who likes to get out your resort's backcountry gates (with the proper avalanche equipment, of course) you'll definitely dig its Posi-Block technology. With the flip of its back tab the AllTrack 120 goes from ski mode to hike mode and back again. In hike mode, the lower shell's U-shaped profile in the rear allows for maximum range-of-motion for comfortable hiking and walking, while in ski mode the AllTrack 120 delivers unprecedented downhill performance

Equipped with grip soles and arches for increased traction and durability, the AllTrack 120 also works well with the WTR (Walk-To-Ride) rockered soles (sold separately) for even easier hiking and walking. The WTR soles are only compatible with AT-specific bindings and are not included in the purchase of the AllTrack 120 boot.

Sweet Solid boot

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I recently got these and I love them. I had some techina 80 agents and the 120 flex in these makes a huge difference. The liner fits like a glove, especially because I have wider feet than the average joe. I haven't been able to go into the backcountry but I have used the hike mode in bounds hiking up to the tops of peaks and it makes it much easier. This is a great boot if you go resort skiing and also explore the backcountry. I would recommend this boot for anyone that looking to upgrade to a boot allowing them to explore any part of the mountain.

Solid Boots for Resort and Backcountry

I picked these up at the start of the season and finally used them yesterday for touring. I have used them about 10 times at resorts and love them. As far as ski boots go they have been pretty comfortable (still breaking them in) and have handled all types of skiing really well. For resorts I use them with the Rossi FKS 18 bindings on some Salomon El Dicator skis. I ski the El Dictators really aggressively and these boots are a great combo for that set up.

I finally got a touring day in with these boots and used the Salomon Guardian bindings on the Black Diamond Zealot skis. They handled the tour up really well and were comfortable in the "Hike mode."

They aren't the lightest boots but are great for an all around, resort/backcountry boot. Most importantly, man's best friend approves of these boots.

What size shoe are you? And which size boot did you go with? I just ordered these from Rossi but ordered two pairs - the 28.5 and 29.5 since I am in between sizes having a size 11 foot. Will have to return the pair that doesn't fit. Just trying to gauge the comfort level. They don't arrive until late next week.

Good choice on boots! And I am size 11 or 11.5 depending on the shoe, and I have these boots in 29.5. These also have the thermo-moldable heat liner which you can take in to a ski shop and have molded to your foot for more comfort and a better fit.

Let me know how they work for you!
