5wt 9 foot - really nice rod

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Really nice rod, lightweight, nice finish, pretty fast action, shoots straight. I was very impressed with this rod, once I got used to the rhythm of the cast and quit trying to muscle it, the fly went right to where I cast it (as opposed to where I wanted it some times = operator error). I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to move up to higher end rod. Bottom line I caught some fish and had some fun with it.

This is my first rod. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but it has been great for me! I'll use it happily for years to come I'm sure, feels nice and catches fish!
