    Exploration is calling.

From the pristine powder of the Tetons to the glaciated peaks of the North Cascades, the Rome Whiteroom Splitboard is your vehicle for boundless backcountry exploration, far beyond the crowded slopes and overpriced tickets of the ski resorts. The Whiteroom Split features a directional shape for bombing steeps, floating in powder, and charging across choppy snow. Lending explosive slashes and powerful edge hold, the Powder-S profile features a prominent section of camber along the rear, running to the mid-board zone.

The Whiteroom's Powder S profile holds an aggressive edge on steeps and slashes powder with explosive response, thanks to prominent camber along the rear. Running from the front inserts to the nose, the Powder S profile uplifts with a healthy dose of rocker. By weighting the rear camber of the board, the nose naturally lifts out of the snow, preventing you from submerging in the deep stuff. Ultimately, this hybrid profile floats easily across the deepest powder, engages aggressively into carves, and snaps powerfully when you're dropping cliffs and natural hits.

Shaving weight for uphill efficiency, the AirPop Core Matrix combines five zones of ultra-light wood, with air channels reducing weight even further. StraightTriax 30 laminates provide the torsional response and high-speed stability for charging the steep and deep. Carbon Double Barrel TurboRods add pop to the tail section of the board, allowing you to boost massive ollies and snap out of turns with powerful response. To ensure plenty of speed across deep snow and low-angle runouts, the SinterSpeed base readily absorbs wax for high-speed glide.

Calling all Powder-hounds - look no further for your next splitboard.

After demoing a few other splitboards last season I decided to go with the Rome Whiteroom this season for my backcountry tours. I got my first day in on this split a couple weeks ago and although conditions were a bit bare (and slightly "sharky") my first run on this board was pure ecstasy. With the S-Shape - Camber in the rear and Rocker tapered up to the nose, this board is meant to surf the deepest of pow.

I paired this board up with the Burton Hitchhikers and find it to be one of the lightest splits I have ever picked up (Jones Carbon solution has it beat, but for half this cost this board comes relatively close).

Since there are only a few different sizes to choose from (158,162 and 165), feel free to hit me up to find the right size for you.

Need skins, poles, bindings, boots, avi gear and not sure where to start? Get at me and I'll get you setup on a full backcountry setup so you can chase those lines you'll be dreaming about for the rest of your life...
