Coast-to-coast shred dominance.
Whether you're floating through deep pow in Colorado's Rockies or stomping backside 5s in Vermont's dialed terrain parks, the Rome Tour Wide Snowboard delivers the go-anywhere, rip-anything versatility of a true twin shape and No Hang-Ups Rocker 2.0 profile. Created for all-terrain riders on a budget, the Tour Wide Snowboard delivers incredible performance without emptying your bank account. As such, it's best for riders with feet sized 11 and up, offering confidence-inspiring stability without pesky toe drag on more aggressive carves.
Rome's No Hang-Ups Rocker 2.0 is flat underfoot, with the large, diamond-shaped flat zone running 30-millimeters shy of the tip and tail contacts. From the flat zone, the board transitions to a 3D-curvilinear rocker that's bent in a convex shape (i.e., much like a spoon) all the way through the tip and tail. This design works great for riders looking to hone their carving and freestyle skills, as the tip and tail contacts—the areas that initiate turns—are kinked upward, keeping you from catching an edge when you're turning or jibbing on boxes and rails. It's also great for floating through deeper snow, as the convex-shaped nose effortlessly directs snow around the sides without plowing or submerging.
Inside the Tour, the Pop Core Matrix keeps things exceptionally lightweight and super-snappy, courtesy of poplar wood blended with two zones of ultra-light wood. Biax fiberglass is torsionally soft for easy presses and butters, as well as super-quick turn initiation when you're slaloming through tight trees and negotiating between hits in the park. Add in Rome's QuickRip sidecut for extra edgehold, as well as an Extruded base for fast glide without much maintenance.
