Sick!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Height: 5' 11"
    Weight: 170 lbs
    Size Purchased: XL

This turned out much better than I thought. The lining on the inside is nylon, so it stops the wind pretty well and feels nice on the inside. I read the reviews and ordered a size XL where normally I'm a Large, and I'm glad I did. It still fits fairly loose though, which is great for riding.

True to size

After reading the other reviews I thought it would run a size small so I went with an XL, normally I wear a L. It's kinda baggy on me, but if that's your preference get a size or two bigger. Would have returned it for my regular size but I'm a lazy person. Oh yeah warm as hell too.

Great Riding Hoodie

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Height: 5' 10"
    Weight: 145 lbs
    Size Purchased: XL

I wear a L hoodie for every day use, so I figured I'd get an XL for snowboarding. XL is nice, but I could've gone XXL. Only downside. Other than that, it's stylish, warm, well made, etc. Totally worth the buy. Favorite sweatshirt, and definitely my best sweatshirt for on the mountain. The nylon liner makes it block the wind. Not saying it can be subbed out for a jacket, but it keeps you warm on days when a regular hoodie wouldn't. Side note: The photo for the navy one shows the end of the sleeves and the bottom as black. In reality, it's a slightly darker shade of blue than the rest of the hoodie. No biggie, just thought it was worth noting.

Same Problems As Last Year

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I remember last year, so many people were complaining about how small this hoodie ran... Well, It doesn't seem like they fixed it for this year. I ordered the XL over Thanksgiving weekend and it was way too small. Super disappointing since Romes a pretty chill company and knows how most snowboarders like to wear their hoodies when they ride AND it was such a big problem last year, showing that they didn't listen or make proper adjustments. Thank god for Dogfunk though. They sent me a XXL and it fits great now. So I would double up on the size.

Other than the size problem, the hoodie is just okay. I thought it would be a lot thicker and more heavy duty. But its literally just like any other cotton hoodie with a nylon liner thrown inside. So I cant see myself riding in this. Don't get me wrong, the nylon liner is super nice and I appreciate that they tossed it in, I just don't think the hoodie is worth 75 bucks.

Overall: Decently Solid.
