Do you spend a good part of your day in mid-air?
Bjorn Leines has a thing for going big. Always. And whether it's first-try 9s over Chad's Gap or late no-grab back 180s down chutes with blind landings, he's trusting the Rome Mod Snowboard to provide the boost for the take off and the stability to stick the landing. The powerful Mod transcends the need for multiple boards since it was developed with twin geometry to handle front-country runs the same as it does terrain beyond the ropes.
The Mod uses tried-and-true traditional camber for powerful, precise carving and unmatched pop. Speaking of power, the Mod lands at the very top of Rome's power chart. Super-light regions of wood are integrated with the industry favorite—poplar—to make the AirPop Core Matrix core, and HotRods double carbon rods are milled into the core for even more pop. Kevlar impact plates underfoot increase durability by protecting the core from getting compressed by the bindings on harsh impacts, and the fast SinterTrue base keeps you cruising through flat zones and traverses.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
If you want a stiff board with a ton of pop that can crush pow lines to big booters, this is your board. It is not the best for pressing in the park, but if you're not a park rat you won't mind this minor flaw in the board. Great response, super durable, and fun board to cruise around anywhere on. I had the older model for 3 seasons: 70+ days, 100+ days, 70+ days, and only damage on the board was when I ripped the sidewall out early season on a rock. And it was my fault, not the boards. Highly recommend this board!
