The Rome Machine Wide Snowboard proves that even big-booted shredders can rock a buttery smooth ride to tear up the terrain park and slay the streets. This true twin deck features a medium flex that lets you nose press with ease and get plenty of pop to jib off ledges and kickers. A burly Impact base, ultra-durable Impact edges, and Rome’s new anti-compression Impact Plates keep the Machine Wide Snowboard from getting destroyed when you throw down hard all season. Thanks to a waist width designed for a size 12 foot, this Rome snowboard eliminates dragging and gives you a smooth-as-coco-butter ride.

Bottom Line: Hook up the Rome Machine Wide Snowboard and finally get the jibstick you deserve.

One of the best wide boards by FAR

This deck has rediculous flex but holds a firm edge at high speeds. Its really nice to have a wide deck that is park specific, yet can RIP all aspects of the mountain. Super light, crazy pop, and ultra responsive (nolly's with this is like pa-pa-pa-POW, HUGEEEEEE) . I've ridden a lot of wide boards, due to how big my feet are, and i must say that this is the board to get. 2008 model is not as nice as the '09, so i can't wait to see what they come out with next. Rome has performance and the rider in mind with all of their decks, and thats whats its all about. Never squirrely and always stable, even at high speeds. So really, if you're looking for a park specific deck that KILLSSSSSS the park but can go anywhere on the mountain, get this Machine. Trust me you wont be dissapointed, i wasn't :)

I got this board and am yet to ride it. I'm more of an all-mountain

I got this board and am yet to ride it.

I'm more of an all-mountain rider (not specific to anything). I don't really have big feet or anything either.

I'm 6'0'' and 165 lbs. I picked up the 159.

Would it suit me well?

Thanks.

Yeah you should be good to go. With it being a wide model that will be more suited for your all mountain riding style and float better in the powder. The only time this board might feel sluggish is in the park.

Slooooow

Bought from here and rode for 2 days.

Good if you look for a wide twin for flat and jibs, but very limited when it comes to stability, speed, holding edges or being a pipe surgeon. Basically, it's not good for much, way too much flex especially for a wide board, and I m not even heavy (170 pounds).

Ridiculous flex

Ever date a gymnast? Well if you thought that she could get into some weird positions, then ride the machine next! This board bluntslides better than method man on ice skates. Great board to ride rails, the torsional flex helps you dial in your positioning and balance as it is such a soft flex. The tip to tail flex is locked in for great ollies though due to Rome using BAMBOO in the board, yeah bamboo its not just for shoving under finger nails anymore. Get Sick!
