Do or die.
Made for must-make situations, from sketchy street gaps to one-chance cliff drops, the Rome D.O.D. Snowboard Binding is flexible enough for you to get tech on rails, but supportive enough to handle your biggest stunts. Abuse it in the city, test its mettle in the park, or take it out for some pow slashing—no matter how you ride it, freestyle fiends will love this binding.
The baseplate makes minimal contact with your board, allowing the board to flex the way it was meant to. The UnderWrap heel hoop offers quick and powerful edge-to-edge response so you can fly around the mountain at full speed, but still allows side-to-side flex for getting loose in the park. Canting angles the footbed to properly align your knees, giving you a more powerful feel that's less punishing on your joints. There's also plenty of padding to have your back when you're doing daring bomb drops or riding out sketchy chutes through chunder.

New Ankle Strap is amazing
I rode these for most of last season and the new Ankle strap is the most comfy strap I've ever ridden.
Rome DOD Binding and Buckshot Board
Whitelines Snowboarding giving you some insight into the DOD binding and Buckshot board.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The DOD is my new "go-to" binding. I rode the Katanas for two years and never thought I'd switch... People change. The flex of the DOD is responsive yet still playful. I have the black DOD in a size L/XL and they are a perfect fit with my size 11 Burton Ion boots. A size 12 would probably work, but if your boots are bigger than that, the L/XL Katana would be a better choice. I absolutely love the new highback!! The antishock flex channel mid way up the highback is a remarkable. Powerful yet forgiving. Set down a little heel heavy and the highback saves you and your calves. The new ankle strap is so plush that you don't even notice it, but somehow you can still rail carves without cranking them so tight that your feet go to sleep. These things are so good that I "need" a second pair for my other set-up.
