Proven tool for park and urban conquests.

Rope tow parks, late night urban missions, and early-season sessions are where you can find the Rome Artifact Snowboard in its natural habitat. Loaded with the poppy, locked-in feel of traditional camber, the Artifact remains a top choice for urban rail missions and all-out park destruction.

Traditional camber provides the pop and power that other profiles imitate but never duplicate. Skatecore profiling thins out the board between the bindings and thickens it underfoot for a skate-like feel that's as close to a pair of trucks as you'll get on snow. The Stomp Core Matrix is reinforced with impact-resistant wood in high-impact areas to increase dampening and strength, and a HotRods Single Glass Barrel running down the center increases pop without sacrificing the mellow torsional flex.

A StraightBiax laminate keeps the flex soft and makes it easy to ride. Rebound sidewalls increase impact absorption to prevent blowouts and breaks when you're gapping to big down rails, and they also smooth out the ride a bit. It's finished with a high-density Impact base for extra durability, because sometimes there's not a lot of snow on top of that concrete.

    Soft, Stable, Responsive

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've had a few days on this board and this thing rips. It's responsive and stable, yet still soft and press-able. It holds it down on jumps and gives you great edge in. The base is a little on the softer side, so keep it away from sharks (rocks/trees hidden under the snow) during early and late season riding. Very fun to ride, however I would recommend it to intermediate to advanced riders due to the traditional positive camber profile.

    My go-to park board!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Rome Artifact is insanely fun! I used to ride a fully-rockered board for the past few years and going back to the traditional camber has made my rail game so much better already. The deck is really lightweight, the blunted tips also add to the swing weight when spinning. The flex is perfectly playful but doesn't wash out on jumps or bigger drops.

Overall, if you're thinking about getting this board, do it! It's the most fun I've had on a snowboard in a long time! Will definitely re-purchase whenever this one loses steam (which doesn't seem like any time soon).

    Rail Slayer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You want to ride rails like the pros? This deck is your best bet yet. It has a smooth and consistent flex that is perfect for locking in presses and blunts. The extruded base is hard and can take a beating on metal, concrete, rocks, whatever. However, it is strong enough to take on larger park jumps if you like to mix those in. You know you want it.
