If you plan to slide bigger rails, ollie over resort instructor's skis, and ridicule fat tourist kids, then you'd better have the style, skills, and board to do so. Rome is your biggest supporter and proves it with the Artifact Snowboard's jib-specific construction and design. And to make your assault on society even more effective, Rome gave each size a different gaper-teasing suggestion called 'jerk moves' in the form of cartoon graphics for easy interpretation by your bong-baked brain.

  • Impact Core is a durable wood composite material that can take the abuse urban jibbers and park killers dish out on man-made and natural features
  • Rome’s new QuickGrip sidecut technology uses different sidecuts in different areas to add turn versatility (slow speeds give the Artifact a short-board feel—quick turns and high maneuverability, high speeds activate the traditional contact points at nose and tail for long carves
  • New Glass Impact plates under the binding inserts increase overall strength
  • Jib-specific 3-degree base and edge bevel practically eliminate catch on rails, boxes, logs, and gaper's skis
  • Stay Positive camber provides the best pop and stability in landings of any camber profile
  • StraightBiax laminate is the softest flexing topsheet so no extra stiffness is added to the already snappy camber
  • Durable Impact base resist nicks and dings from rails, rocks, gaper skulls, and unicorn horns

Bottom Line: It's a fact that jibbing is an art.

too soft for all mountain unless you weigh a buck 10 by the end of my first season with this board blew out the edges in 4 spots and damn near cracked it half rendering it useless great for rails and urban warfare but unless you can afford 2 boards or you do not like jumps or anything where your landing is more than 3ft tall this is not the board to get

The item description clearly states this is a jib specific board...That would be why it doesn't do well for all mountain riding. Please rate accordingly.
