Jib junkies rejoice.

The Rome Artifact Rocker Snowboard has a soft, playful feel for effortless presses and butters, making it ideal for rail slayers and park rats looking for a dedicated jib stick. This true twin deck is identical to the regular Artifact, except for its FreePop Rocker profile, which combines the neutral feel of flat camber underfoot with the catch-free fun of rocker at the tip and tail.

Providing a snappy, skate-like feel into the Artifact Rocker, the board's Stomp Core Matrix with Full SkateDeck uses a full-length, horizontal wood laminate on top. This added wood laminate beefs up durability under the board's bindings, preventing damage when you're slamming onto rails and gapping to street features. Rebound sidewalls absorb impact for a smoother feel when you're grinding, and Glass Single Barrel HotRods offer pre-loaded pop when you're snapping ollies and launching small-to-medium sized kickers. In addition, the board's Impact base withstands serious thrashings from an entire season's worth of rail, park, and street riding.

  • True twin shape
  • FreePop Rocker (flat underfoot, rockered tip and tail)
  • Stomp Core Matrix with Full SkateDeck
  • StraightBiax Laminate
  • Glass Single Barrel HotRods

FUN!!! duh

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This whip is the epitome of fun. If you like fun read on, if not, you probably shouldn't buy a snowboard. The Artifact Rocker is my favorite park/rail/urban board (it jumps pretty well too). Flat through the bindings for a solid base with a bit of rocker in the tips for a playful skate quality. It has a softer flex so the board is most at home performing maneuvers like front boards, tree jibs, tail blocks and tripods. Don't worry though, HotRods make the board poppy enough to ollie that "slow" sign. Plus the tip shape just looks awesome.
Want the same flex with a little more snap: Artifact (standard camber)
Love FreePop Rocker but want a bit more stiffness: Gang Plank

Rail killer

There is a reason the Artifact Rocker has been in the Rome line for so one of the best park/rail boards out there. This year the Artifact Rocker has a great new tip and tail shape to help reduce swing weight and some new tech in the Rebound Sidewalls. The rebound sidewall is an elastic material that helps absorb impact on rails and concrete...the stuff is amazing. Mix that with the Impact base, and Impact edges and you have a solid rail and street board.

park rocker done right!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Everything you want in a park board, flat between your feet and rocker in the nose and tail. Easy press in the park, super playful and buttery around the mountain. The rocker tips give it great float on those precious powder days as well. The artifact series is one of those battle tested boards, one of the only boards I've ridden that will hold up to a full season of park/ urban or rocks.
