Anthem Snowboard

With a lively freeride feel delivered through carbon Hot Rods and an AirPop Core Matrix, the Rome Anthem Snowboard longs to sing its power-ballad all over the mountain. Hybrid RipIt camber provides the familiar power and response only camber can deliver but with a subtle rocker shape in the nose and tail, lifting the contact points up and loosening up the ride. So whether it's riding powder, occasionally checking out the park, or dragging knuckles on the corduroy, the Anthem is ready to shred … while you belt out some wicked hair-metal vocals.

  • Hybrid RipIt camber profile provides a mostly cambered shape with just enough rocker to disengage from the snow about 15cm before the contact points
  • Hot Rods make for great ollies and nollies with the strategic placement of two carbon rods in both the nose and the tail
  • QuickRip sidecut technology uses a specical geometry which rides loose and remains playful when going slow, but is also quick and nimble with higher speeds
  • PressurePop KEVLAR® and basalt plates laid in a reverse-v pattern transfer energy from your bindings to the tip and tail and create a super-strong platform for big landings
  • AirPop Core Matrix brings the pop with a tip-to-tail low-density wood and poplar core
  • SinterSpeed speed base uses an advanced, wax-absorbing sintered composition built with speed and durability in mind

Bottom Line: Something to believe in … and shred with.

Versatile all-mountain ripper...

I'm a big fan of the Hybrid camber, it rides short when making low angle turns at slower speeds, but then rides long when you let the board run.

I used to ride an Agent 154 as deck for spring and general riding, I kicked up to the Anthem 157 as I found it a touch more stable at spped, but with the hybrid camber I found that it still rode short when goofing off on banks and stuff on the side of the trail. When I went to AK last spring I just increased the length to a 161 (technically rode the SS); it was nice to be able to stay on basically the same shape, which made the transition easier.
