The Rocky Mountain Slayer SXC Team is a trail-hungry multitool, defining the Super Cross Country division and showcasing the Canadi-awesome Team graphic treatment. If you’re looking for one frame that can handle both the up and the down, we can think of very few that match the Slayer—just look around. Its presence is nearly ubiquitous from the liftline to the trailhead, and for good reason, because with six inches of rear travel, a not-too-twitchy 68-degree head tube angle, a low standover height and Rocky Mountain’s LC2R single-pivot suspension, the Slayer kills it pretty much anywhere. If a quiver is beyond your means, and you don’t rock full spandex or live in a coastal British Columbia forest with a reclusive tribe of freeride junkies, the Slayer very well could be the perfect ride.
Bottom Line: Because honestly, you’d prefer to slay it.
