    Make every presentation perfect.

Featuring RIO's new ConnectCore technology, the InTouch Trout LT Fly Line dramatically reduces the amount of stretch in the line, resulting in an intuitive casting feel and ultra-sensitive strike detection. This weight-forward option makes for effortless roll casts and easy line pick-ups thanks to a long, fine front taper. The line itself is coated with RIO's MaxCast protective coating to repel water, increasing the longevity of the line, and it's treated with an additional coating at the tip to keep the tip of the line on the surface. A welded front loop makes attaching different leaders quick and easy, while the color-coated line allows you to quickly see how much line you have out with just a glance.

    5wt is great

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Put a5WF on a brand new hatch reel and and older z-axis. The line flies out of the guides. It's among on of the fastest lines i've used. Fishing from a boat, light breeze, we were throwing 50ft shots into the bank with ease. Yes its on the expensive end, but your only buying a new line every few years or so. Rio has really emerged as one of the top line/tippet brands. Would recommend to any fly fisherman

    Fantastic line!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had SA line on my 5 wt, and will be purchasing RIO for it, due to the performance I got out of this on my 3 wt. I had purchased a 3 wt specifically for small streams, but after experimenting with this line on the rod on the Middle, I now exclusively fish dry flies on the Middle Provo with this line on my 3 wt. Casts far, is sensitive, and has great performance on the water.
