You've spent a couple 'cross seasons racing that old touring bike, and it's finally time to upgrade to a CX-specific machine. Right tool for the right job, right? Right. The Ridley X-Bow is about as cyclocross-specific as you can get without importing mud from Belgium. The aluminum frame handles all the abuse you can throw at it, and provides a solid, stiff base for the powerful riding necessary in 'cross. A mix of intelligent components, including a carbon fiber fork, make the X-Bow a great race machine.

  • Shimano 105 drivetrain and shifters offer solid, precise, and reliable shifting performance
  • Compact crankset with 50- and 30-tooth chainrings, mated to a 12-25 cassette give you a wide variety of gearing options
  • Clement Crusade tires fall outside the UCI's mandated tire size, but are great for training, commuting, and non-UCI races
  • Ten year frame warranty offers peace of mind

First time I have looked into buying from realcyclist. Unfortunately the bicycles I have an interest in are not available in my size ..... is there an alternative to ordering bicycles in a size not listed in the "select options" drop down - or is this site always - this is the inventory - no alternatives available of not "listed" ???

Boyfriend Loves!

For a hard core mtn biker wanting to get something more versatile to add to the quiver of toys, this bike is perfect! Cyclocross riders only will love this bike too of course, but so far, for someone who has been riding mtn bikes for 30 yrs..this has been super fun for him to rally on trails that he had not thought would be fun on any other style bike. The weight difference and overall sturdiness makes this a great ride! Very comfortable. He's 5'10" inseam of 30-31 ..went with the 52". Perfect size.
