The Ridley Noah RS is proof you don't need a six-figure income to have a Grand Tour-worthy machine parked in your living room. But lets just cut to the chase and discuss the compromises made on the Noah RS, as compared to the flagship Noah model. Surprisingly, there aren't many. The Noah RS is built with a slightly lower modulus carbon than the Noah and doesn't come equipped with an integrated seatpost. And sure, you take a small step down in components, but that's about it. The Noah RS features the same geometry as the Noah, and also comes with Ridley's innovative R-Flow Jet Foil fork. The R-Flow is designed to channel air away from the rotating spokes to create less turbulence—and less turbulence means higher speeds. The same beautiful paint (no decals here) Ridley is known for is prevalent in the RS, making it as easy on the eyes as it is over the Belgian cobbles. The ultra-reliable SRAM drivetrain won't leave you yearning for more when it's time to turn back home, and Ridley's 4ZA hoops offer the buttery-smoothness of a race wheel mated to the toughness of an everyday training wheel. All things considered, if the only compromise you're willing to make is price, then look no further than the Ridley Noah RS.

  • Ridley claims their R-Surface sections of paint improves laminar air flow up to 3.6%—not bad for paint
  • Internal cable routing minimizes wind drag and gives the RS a streamlined look
  • Compact chainrings provide the power to climb without sacrificing the sprint
  • Oversized bottom bracket won't flex like wet noodle in the final 200 meters
  • The taller head tube, combined with the deeper-drop handlebar, creates comfortable, yet aggressive handling
  • Shaped tubing for further cheating the wind

Luv my Noah RS

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I ride several different bikes and my NOAH RS SRAM Red is rapidly becoming my favorite. It climbs like no other aero bike and better than most non aero bikes. Looks and feels great going fast, and slow. Great power transfer with just the right amount of compliance to soften the big bumps while, maintaining a dynamic road feel. At 5 11, 170 lbs, rides AWESOME. At just under 15 lbs, it responsive, stable and easy to maintain speed after rapidly spinning up to speed. Build quality, finish are as good as it gets. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and a GREAT VALUE!

Great bike

I wanted a more areo and compliant carbon bike than the older one I have. This bike does both extremely well. I was wowed the first time and still am after 3 months. It just rolls over the bumps and really flies. I really like the SRAM red/force setup and the aluminum wheels work well for winter and trainer. I swap them out for my zipp 404's and make it even more aero and compliant. The paint finish is fantastic. I keep it waxed and clean after rides. Customer service was great and it shipped fast without issues. Overall great deal, thanks!

Awesome bike

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Light and fast. The frame feels very aerodynamics. SRAM red drive train is okay, not so quiet, love the shifters though. Need to clean and lube chain nd gear every couple hundred miles to keep it quiet. The big down tube has droplet shape that delivers both stiffness and aerodynamics. Upgraded to Mavic Ksyrium slr wheelset made this bike even lighter, faster and stiffer to ciimb. The paint work is beautiful, looks good on road or living room.

Awesome bike
