Fenix A10 Shimano 105 Complete Road Bike - 2015

Ridley’s Fenix A10 is at once an ideal bike for the committed beginner and the seasoned crit racer. The features that make it great for new riders –relatively low price, durability, reliability –also make it perfect for the three-days-a-week racer who’ll likely end up in more than his or her fair share of crashes throughout the season. The Fenix A10 is constructed from 7005 aluminum, which is much trickier to work with than the more-traditional 6061, but Ridley invested in some advanced machinery to make the best possible alloy bike on the market.

Knowing that materials and parts only get you so far, Ridley wisely adapted the geometry from the Noah, it’s top-line road racing bike. As far as the spec goes, you’ll find an ultra-reliable Shimano 105, 11-speed drivetrain that spins Fulcrum Racing Sport wheels, wrapped in Continental’s Ultra Sport II tires. The cockpit consists of 4ZA alloy bits, and the fork is Ridley’s 24-ton carbon fiber model.
