Ride designed the Timeless Snowboard for steep lines, massive hits, and waist-deep powder. Although the Timeless Snowboard has been at the forefront of freeride technology for 11 years, Ride still found room for improvement. Ride's innovative 37-degree Misty 2+ design saves weight and gives you incredible edge-to-edge transition. This all-mountain board's True Colored sintered base rips with hair-on-fire speed and requires fewer tune-ups then most base materials. For amplitude and control, Ride included an Aggression Tuned core and Carbon array construction. This gives you a balance between stiffness and torsional flexibility that transfers energy toward your edges and gives you incredible pop. When you're pointing razor-thin chutes, the Timeless Snowboard's directional shape provides precision control, while the quadratic sidecut narrows at the waist to give you bomber edge hold. With this year's Timeless, Ride takes the intermediate to advanced rider into the steepest, gnarliest, and biggest terrain.

Bottom Line: Ride continues to improve on a classic with this year's Timeless Snowboard.

I was scared to ride it. But learned to love it.

This board kicks a**. I bought this 159 timeless board off the internet and while I was waiting for it to arrive at my front door step I read all the reviews I could get my hands on. All the reviews said "FAST / NOT FOR BEGINNERS / WEAR HELMET / ETC". I have only been snowboarding a total of 9 times, and I was a little scared after reading all the reviews for the "advanced timeless". Let me just say that this board rocks. It is a much easier ride than my 159 Lamar Premier (softer). I understand that Lamar boards aren't the greatest in the world but still. I have way more control and the funny thing is that I feel a lot safer going twice as fast. Two things I will agree with the reviews that I read is that 1 - it's not a performer at slow speeds, and 2 - Ride it or it will Ride you (you can't be lazy while riding it). So all you intermediate riders out there don't be afraid. Ride kicks a**. I'm going back up the mountain this weekend to shred some powder on my new RIDE TIMELESS 159.

Great stiff board. If you like 'em long and stiff, then there is none better.

fast fast fast

This snowboard is ridiculously fast. It's stiff, holds an edge and just bombs down the mountain. It's got a nice pop off lips and is solid in landings. That being said, it is not an easy board to ride. Being as stiff as it is, and as responsive as it is, if you stop paying attention for just a minute and you'll eat it hard. So, if you're just starting, stay away. But, if you're ready to move on up, this is one sweet ride.

Go long and stiff...Jibbers beware!

By:
November 8, 2006

Rode the 168 Timeless last year after years on 176 Morrows (because Matt Goodwill floated them to me for free). I loved how stiff it was (all the other longboards these days are noodles), but wanted a bit more length. Turns out they only made 36 of the 172's at the factory and the rep couldn't even get one for Matt, but wait, one in stock here? Score! I just nabbed it and can't wait to mount it up. I'll let you all know how it charges, but I know if you like responsive boards that are stable at high speeds, then the timeless series is the goods. Remember a jump is only as good as its landing and with 172 cm under your feet, you're bound to stick it more often and float deep pow while the jibbers are digging out.
