Slackcountry Snowboard

Built for going OB on blower days at the resort, the Ride Slackcountry Snowboard combines Ride’s latest rocker technology, so you don’t have to fart around in-bounds when you really need some old-fashioned pow-in-your-face freedom. With an ultralight design and Ride’s powder-specific HighRize Rocker, you can just lean back and let the Slackcountry Snowboard do the work for you. With plenty of carbon for stability, and 90A Slimewalls to soak up the chop, the only thing that will be slack at the end of a powder day will be your noodle-feeling legs.

Designed to turn quick shots on the other side of the rope into runs you'll be talking about years from now, the Slackcountry snowboard takes everything that Ride knows about powder and crams in into one deck. The HighRize Rocker (Ride's most acute rocker profile) gives the Slackcountry tons of flotation in the deep stuff and a loose but responsive feel. The twinish shape rides and lands with plenty of control and predictability whether straight or switch. Ride’s Cleave Edge edges wrap all the way around the board seamlessly and contain about 50% more steel than standard edges for bomber durability and more flexibility with de-tuning.

The Slackcountry Snowboard also uses Ride's proven Slimewalls sidewall technology. Ride uses urethane sidewalls that absorb impact to smooth the ride and allow you to ride harder, longer. They're also some of the toughest sidewalls in the industry. Along with Slimewalls, Ride’s Carbon Array 3 Laminates add stiffness throughout the board for better board control. All of this technology is built around Ride’s Performance Tuned Core, which blends aspen, bamboo, and other lightweight woods for the perfect amount of strength, pop, and light weight. Ride finishes off the Slackcountry Snowboard with a lightweight, renewably sourced  Hempbrain topsheet on top and the hard, fast, and durably Fusion 4000 sintered base underneath.
