Solid boot, impressed.

It's just as described, fairly stiff, comfortable, supportive. Great control when mobbing top to bottom, variable terrain. Excellent backcountry boot, tough leather upper. I would recommend sealing/treating the leather, like any other serious mountaineering boot. On warm days they will soak up water, but don't leak or anything. I gave them a couple of good coats of Nikwax for boots and they still bead after 30+ days of hard use. Don't expect the leather to look pretty like the photo, they will quickly turn darker and polished by straps, like an old saddle. Looks rad though. I'm running '08 Cartel binders which have a lot of forward lean, so the boot has to be pushed into the heel pretty hard to get the heel to seat correctly. Size is true as a shoe. Much lower volume than my Burton Drivers or Shaun Whites, I could even go a size smaller on my binding. The straps are maxed out the opposite direction! I'd recommend to hardcore freeriders, I'm picky about my gear and try lots of stuff and these boots have been confidence inspiring and comfortable.

pretty much everything could hope for

comfortable from the start, and it only got better (however, sizing on small side) warm boots, easy to walk in, low profile gives good control... very pleased

Ride boots run small compared to most brands. Need to get a half size larger than normal. Besides that, great boots!

So comfy

I loved this boot from the minute I put it on. I have rode it a few days and haven't even needed to mold it. Its doing it on its own. So comfy! I recomend to all...

Light & Comfy

Ride has brought one of the best boots produced to date out to the masses this year.
Ride is now using the Intuition liner, same liner you find in Thirty Two boots. But the difference is they have added more foam padding to it and a 1-to-1 shell-to-liner.
What that means is that the Ride Intuition isn't going to pack out like 32 liners do. If you get a 8.5 boot, both the shell and liner are a size 8.5 (Burton does this with their boots). So there isn't a ton of extra room in the boot for them to pack out.
On top of that, they are the lightest boots I have ever had on my feet, and Ride has done a great job with reducing the volume of the shell so there isn't a ton of bulk. I really hated that I had to max out my bindings with my Thirty Two Vader last year because they were so bulky.
The fit is pretty true to size on these boots; Ride runs true to Brannock sizing (every shoe store has a metal Brannock scale you can check your size with).
If you are looking for a light, comfortable, stiff boot that isn't overly bulky and will not pack out and need to be replaced after 30 days, you will love this boot.
