This jacket would be fine for someone that rides less than 10 days a year. You would think a company from the PNW would make jackets that could stand up to the wet conditions. After about 7 days the DWR wore off on the sleeves, leaving me feeling like a wet rag. Not a not a big deal, just re-waterproofed it. Now the inside lining of the sleeve has torn away from the outer shell and I have noticed some other stitches starting to fray in other spots as well.

Ride claims to line this jacket with a faux fur but its really more of a micro fleece or brushed tricott. It isn't going to provide any warmth but has a lot nicer hand than a traditional nylon or tafetta. If you're looking for a comfy shell that zips into your ride pants, this is definitely a great piece to add to your collection
