Just because you're new in the game doesn't mean your feet are any less important than a more experienced rider's. Say goodbye to blown-out rentals, pick up the Ride Orion Snowboard Boots, and watch your riding instantly progress.
The big story here is the Orion's affordable performance. Ride is able to achieve this with low-tech but extremely effective technologies, such as its traditional lacing. The real benefit here is it's simple, inexpensive maintenance—just ask anyone who's broken an expensive, complicated closure system. The inner liner uses Lock Down Turbo to make it easier to get the liner tight and simple to release at the end of the day. Speaking of the inner liner, it's an Intuition Plush Foam Liner. That means it's thermo-moldable to fit your foot perfectly and anti-microbial to reduce boot-stink. Ride also included removable internal J-bars that allow you to lock your heel down inside the boot while providing added comfort.
Shock absorbing duties are taken care of by Ride's medium-density EVA foam insole, so your next flat landing won't feel so flat. The sole is Ride's Grip, a single-compound rubber sole that provides grip and durability while maintaining light weight. To round out the Orion, Ride hooked it up with a natural-feeling articulating cuff and a 3D-formed tongue to eliminate shin-bang forever.
