Park progression for young bucks.
The Ride Kids' Lil' Buck Snowboard breaks the mold of typical kids' boards, delivering the snappy-stable feel and premium build quality desired by younger riders pushing the freestyle envelope. Its twin shape enhances switch skills when they're spinning through the jump line and getting creative on jibs and handrails. Ride's Twin Rocker places a large flat zone throughout the board's running length for straight-line stability and predictable edge hold at high speeds. Making the board a bit more playful, the micro-rocker tip and tail kicks bring catch-free carving and jibbing into the equation, keeping the contact points from hanging up on boxes, rails, and hardpack snow. This profile is also geared towards first-timers just learning to turn, as the micro-rocker tip and tail kicks prevent edges from hanging up when they're learning to carve from edge to edge.
Inside this progression-friendly freestyle board, the Foundation core is made of full aspen wood for a consistently smooth flex underfoot, with enough durability for serious park and rail riders. Biax fiberglass keeps its torsional flex quite soft, making the Lil' Buck super-easy to turn and maneuver. Another cool feature, Slimewalls use impact-absorbing urethane (i.e., same material used in skate wheels) to smooth out its ride. Throw in a low-maintenance Fusion 1500 base for a fast-gliding board, even if they skip on waxing for a couple sessions.
