Ride found a new formula to get you high, and it cooked up this jibbing machine. Picture your old DH, then, slap on Ride’s new LowRize Rocker and LowRize sidecut to get the DH2 Snowboard’s no-hook ride. Don’t forget about the Pop Stixs or the Membrain top-sheet, unless you want this deck to put you in orbit.

  • The new LowRize sidecut allows for buttery turns without hooking edges
  • Pop Stixs add pre-cured, carbon-flavored, ribs of pop to the Tuned core
  • LowRize Rocker has curves in all the right places to provide a smooth, hook-free ride
  • The Membrain top-sheet weighs less than half of traditional top-sheets
  • You may get a different-colored board than the one you see here. We can’t control it, but we’re sure you’ll be stoked

Bottom Line: Jib your brains out and get higher than you’ve ever been before.

how would this board fare in steep and deep powder (like Revelstoke, BC) when say compared to a Lib Tech T.Rice BTX with C2????

I realise the lib tech board would be stiffer and that the rocker is different on both boards, but I once took a friends DH through trees in Niseko Japan's deep pow and it shredded...

I am not into jibbing rails / boxes, i am into trees, deep pow and speedy groomers...

Is the DH2 for me or should I go for the Lib Tech T.Rice BTX C2...?

Neither you want a FREERIDE snowboard not a FREESTYLE snowboard. Check out something like the Burton Custom X. Check out http://www.backcountry.com/store/group/295/All-Mountain-Snowboards.html for backcountry.com's list of all mountain snowboards (freeride)

The end

The end all be all of freestyle decks. Poppy, carvy, jibby, stable, versitile

It rips the groomed. It isnt hooky. You will land things that would normaly bust your @$$. And beyond that, today I was riding 6 inches of set up powder over 20 inches of hollow sugar on the 159, center mounted at 15deg/-15deg and it rode like a setback freeride deck either direction. 'nuf said.

I recomend it to any park rider who likes to charge hard or anyone looking to ride freestyle all over the mountain. All for under $500.

HELLSYAH!

That depends on if you want to ride the whole mountain or just lap the park. If you freestyle the entire mountain and want to ride pow as well as hit bigger features, go with the DH2. Its stiffer, more stable, and floats better in powder. Oppositely, the WWW rocker is super buttery and ideal for jibbing and butters, but won't take care of you at higher speeds like the DH2 will. If you're looking for a middle ground between the two, check out the Ride Machete.
