Buck Up Snowboard - Wide

The folks at Ride got together with Seb Toots and set out to build the ultimate park board; the result of that unholy union is the Ride Buck Up Snowboard. The requirements were simple enough—the board had to be easy to ride right out of the wrapper, yet maintain the high-level performance needed to slay slopestyle comps and turn out new tricks. Mission accomplished. The Wide Buck Up is recommended for riders with boots size 11 and larger.

As Ride's flagship freestyle board, the Buck Up is loaded with Ride's latest technology. The Hybrid Twin Shape features a micro-rockered nose and tail to give the board plenty of float in the deep stuff and a bit more forgiveness on sketchy terrain and sketchy landings. Between the bindings, the Machete uses micro-camber for edge control and tons of pop. The true twin shape rides and lands with plenty of control and predictability whether straight or switch. Ride’s Cleave Edge edges wrap all the way around the board seamlessly and contain about 50% more steel than standard edges for bomber durability.

The Buck Up is also Ride’s showcase vehicle for its new Popwalls sidewall technology. Ride sandwiches carbon stringers, which come from the rear inserts to the contact points in the tail, into its Slimewalls material to give the Buck Up tons of pop, enhanced stability, and better response. Along with Popwalls, Ride’s Carbon Array 5 Laminates add stiffness throughout the board for better board control. All of this technology is built around Ride’s Performance Tuned Core, which blends just the right amounts of aspen, bamboo, and other lightweight woods for the perfect amount of strength, pop, and light weight. Ride finishes off the Buck Up with its Fusion 4000 Base—the fastest base material known to man.
