    Balances comfort with quick-lacing convenience.

Are your old shred boots thrashed, trashed, and in need of retirement? Look to the Ride Men's Anthem Boa Snowboard Boot for a harmonious combination of quick-lacing convenience and cozy comfort that'll have you singing from every mountaintop. This medium-flexing, all-mountain boot offers a Boa Coiler lacing system, making adjusting these bad boys a breeze. This Boa Coiler system consists of a retractable cable that's operated by a single reel for easy tightening, loosening, and on-the-fly adjustments. Ensuring even tension, The Closer Lace Guide is centered over the forefoot for a smooth, consistent flex throughout, ensuring a dialed-in fit without pressure points.

The boot's plush Intuition Plush Foam liner can be heat molded for a great fit right from the box, or you can ride 'em for a few sessions to obtain the same foot-forming fit. Internal J-Bars lock down your heel to prevent slop and unwanted heel lift, while an EVA footbed cradles your foot with added shock-absorption. Additionally, the liner has an Aegis antimicrobial treatment to prevent the build-up of smelly microbes when you're riding hard.

    Time Saver

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have only had a chance to ride once this season with these boots. Also, this is my first experience with the BOA system. I have to say that I was impressed with the ease of adjustment as far as tightening/loosening the boots with the BOA ratchet. The system is fast and a time saver when it comes to gearing up for a day on the slopes. Also, saves your hands from the laces of a traditional boot.

The boots are flexible as the description states but for me I appreciated the flexibility. I have used a stiff boot in the past and I like having the flexibility that the Ride Anthem provides. I felt like I had more control and feel of what my board was doing. Plus, they seem to be easier to walk in compared to a stiffer boot. The boots aren't so flexible that they aren't responsive. Like I mentioned previously, I feel that the Anthem has enough flex to allow you to have more feel but are still responsive. The Anthem was also easier to get on my foot compared to my other pair of Ride boots since you can pull the tongue of the boot way down towards the toe and the inner liner opens up well for your foot. Plus, the extra support provided by the liner helps you feel secure in this boot. Overall, a highly recommended boot for that all day mountain session. A final note: If you don't get your local shop to heat mold the boot for you, I would highly recommend trying the boot on a few times for an hour or so and walk around in them to allow your body heat to mold the boot, BEFORE you hit the slopes.

Rob - what sized did you get and how true to your street/actual daily size is the boot? I wear a street / daily 11, but ordered & returned two pairds, two diff't brands (32 / Nitro) and even 11.5s were totally jamming my feet. I now have online boot-order-phobia so any thoughts on this would help - via you or
