With a penchant for crushing rocky trails, rallying tight berms, and sticking big drops, the Reynolds MTN R29 AM Wheelset offers ultra-robust, reliable performance for enduro racers and all-mountain enthusiasts. Its wider alloy rim construction and double-butted stainless steel spokes ensure high levels of strength to compete with its carbon counterparts, albeit with a slight weight penalty. However, the payoff is a much more reasonable price that leaves room for other performance upgrades to your favorite trail rig.

Featuring a relatively stout 29-millimeter external width, this wheelset offers the fabled benefits of running a wider platform, namely enhanced grip and lower levels of rolling resistance. Add in a tubeless-ready profile (with included rim tape and tubeless valve stems) to lower tire pressure for a smoother overall ride and eliminate pesky pinch flats. Additionally, you'll find Reynolds' RC Red hubs at the front and rear for high levels of strength and interchangeable compatibility with most axles, courtesy of its included end caps.
