MTN 27.5 AM Carbon Wheelset

Designed with one of the strongest rims ever produced by Reynolds, the Reynolds MTN 27.5 AM Carbon Wheelset delivers the durability and strength required by trail enthusiasts and enduro racers, with an incredibly low weight for maximum efficiency on steep climbs. In fact, this wheelset tips the scales at a claimed 1620 grams, bringing it closer in weight to XC-specific wheelsets than its enduro upbringing would suggest.

Upgraded with a high modulus carbon AM rim that's a staggering 31mm wide externally (23mm internal width), this wheelset eagerly accommodates tires up to 2.5-inches in width for maximum grip on the trail. This AM carbon rim displays superior strength and stiffness for high levels of efficiency. The carbon rims also dampen trail vibration and feedback extraordinarily well. Coupled with a tubeless setup at lower pressure, you'll immediately notice a smoother ride over roots, rocks, and off-camber sections of trail.

Equipped with Reynolds straight-pull disc hubs with interchangeable end caps, this wheelset is compatible with most modern axles. Its 28 hole, three-cross lacing pattern improves durability when you're riding 'em over the roughest terrain imaginable. DT-Swiss Revolution front and rear spokes increase wheel strength and reliability. Please note that this wheelset comes with tubeless-ready valves, and they're intended for disc brakes only, with mounts for six-bolt rotors. Furthermore, the wheels come with end cap spacers for 12x142mm, 10x135mm, 15mm, 9mm, or 20mm axles.
