Your buddy is bemoaning the fact that his two-month-old shades already have scratches on the lenses. You’re not about to commiserate—Revo made your Thrive Polarized Sunglasses with super-thin (1.8mm) glass lenses that are light and seriously scratch-resistant.

  • Polarcast polarization technology handles glare off water, snow, and sidewalk
  • 100% Recycled polymer resins (nylon) for durability and earth-friendliness
  • Element Shed coating helps keep lenses clean despite finger-oil, sweat, and mud
  • Anti-reflective coating eliminates light that is otherwise reflected off the inside of the lenses

Bottom Line: Get smart about your lenses.

Awesome Glasses

In case you are wondering, the Revo Spool and the Thrives are nearly identical. The Spool has serilium polycarbonate (fancy plastic) lenses and the thrive has glass lenses. Glass lenses are more scratch resistant, but less impact resistant - so you have to choose what you want more. The other difference is the Thrives are slightly smaller - 63mm wide per lens vs 66mm wide per lens and slightly shorter by a few millimeters. So the Spools might fit better on a larger medium sized face. I was torn between the Spools and Thrives, but chose the Thrives mostly because they fit better and because I preferred glass lenses. Either way, if you choose Revo you will get a high quality pair of sunglasses with the best optics and will love them.

Best Sunglasses out there

This is my second pair of Revo sunglasses. The first were wire frames, and they tended to pinch my head behind the ears. This pair fits great.

I've owned several different brands of sunglasses over the years (RayBan, Oakley, Bolle, Maui Jim), and Revo by far has the best lenses.
