    Double up to halve weight.

Splitting parts down the middle isn't usually a great way to make them stronger, but Renthal's Duo Stem isn't your usual bike part. Renthal's motocross background gives it a different perspective than most MTB part manufacturers, so maybe the uniqueness of the Duo shouldn't be surprising. By crafting it from two parts of CNC-machined 6082 aluminum, Renthal was able slim the weight down to a weensie 124g without any loss of strength compared to more traditional stems. Slap it on your 31.8mm diameter bars and get to rippin'.

    Matches nicely to Renthal Bars

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Currently installed with a Renthal Carbon bar and I don't have the squeeks and noises peopel complain about. It is a bit tricky to install at first but once you figure out a way its pretty simple. I tighten the bolts on the bottom piece on the steerer tube first, then the handle bar, then the top part touching the steerer tube. Very sturdy and stiff. Light as well. No complaints.

Best companion to the Renthal FatBar

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

To start off my bike came with this stem from the factory and overall I have disassembled it and put some miles on it since buying. I hear a lot of reviews on different sites and forums saying that this stem creaks a lot. I have not had 1 creak or noise come from this stem. It's easy to install and maintain, and is hassle free as far as I'm concerned. I have the 50mm and it makes my cockpit on my T275C PERFECT! Get you one!
