Great waders!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I've only worn them on one three day trip so far, but so far so good! They're comfortable and breathable and kept me dry every time I put them on. I love the fleece lined hand warmer pocket and the two smaller storage pockets. The flip-out pocket could be a little bigger though. I couldn't fit my fly box in it, but no big deal. Overall, great fit and great value for the money.

Wife digs em.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Finding waders for my wife was way tougher than I ever thought. We went to all the local fly shops, Crapbelas, everywhere but we couldn't find a women's wader that fit. She's 5'2'' super athletic and all the waders we previously tried on made her look like an Umpalumpa. We took a chance on these and she's happy with the fit and most of all the performance has been exceptional. We've only had them for a year now, but in that year we put em through the wringer. Hiking, bush whacking, long day floats with no leaks. They look good, they work and they're $200 less than the women's Simms, what more can one ask.

It Works!

I bought this specifically for a guided fly fishing trip in New Zealand - 5 consecutive full days of clambering over boulders, crawling up and down steep gravel banks, bashing through the bush, brush, trees, shrubs...think Juraissic Park Country. The waders held up and kept me dry. I am 5 ft tall only and weigh 48 kg. My inseam length is 29 inches and I chose the S size. I picked Reddington over many other brands only because of its longer inseam length - allowing room to hoist my legs over boulders. The suspenders are a bit long for my short torso, which means the top of the waders dont hang well but any shorter length of the suspenders, will cause a wedgie in the crotch area. So its a compromise with not a flattering cut but hey it works ! And I caught big browns so am super happy with it!

Nice women's waders

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a medium in these and am 5'5" 130lbs and they fit quite well. I have fished in them for over 6 months and never a problem. I like the inner and outer front pockets and hand warms. They fit me quite well. Yeah for women's fishing gear!

So, just an update. I give these a 1 STAR only! I have had leaks in 3 pairs of these waders (booties) in 1 year. I will NOT get another pair. They really suck. :/

Love these - initially had the large but the legs were too short and the body too big. Exchanged for the medium long and they fit like a dream! So happy to have found waders for ladies!!!!

This review would be helpful if you included your height, weight, and shoe size and inseam. Otherwise comments on size are meaningless.

I purchased a size medium to match my size from the size chart. The leg measurements are too short, the feet are HUGE and will probably rip a hole soon from trying to bunch them in my wading boots and the shoulder straps have very sharp stitching and seams, enough to cut my neck and shoulders on both sides. I do not recommend these and will never buy a pair again. I also have the problem of "wedgie" type effect from these. Not the most flattering.

this was a terrible review and should be deleted from this site..

Good product

Was nice to find a pair of waders for women. There are very few out there. I have only used these 3 times but they seem like a good product so far. I ordered a med and they seemed to run true to size.

Write your question here...There is one review on this by Elyse who is 5'5" 125# and wearing the size small. I am the same size with muscular athletic build but have a size 9 foot.
Any idea what the foot really accommodate? Per the size chart a small fits foot size 6-7 with is so freakin tiny. Can't figure out what size to get.

I don't have an answer, but have the same question as you...as I am the same build, same size and foot as you (with a 30-31 inseam). I cannot seem to find a pair with proper inseam that is a fair price. Have you any luck?

Working-Woman Waders

I really love these waders as they are tailored to a women's fit and needs. The waders are not baggy yet move very well and comfortably. I'm 5'5" and 125 pounds and have the size small.

The one feature that has come in the most handy (no pun intended) is the hand-warmer pocket. For those colder days in the spring and fall as well as really early mornings the handwarmer pockets have saved me and kept me out on the water longer. Even when your hands aren't using them having the handwarmers up against your core helps keep you warmer.

I thought about giving these waders a 4 star instead of a 5 because they sort of go up my rear. I don't notice it at all as my mobility in them isn't hindered the slightest, I just notice in pictures from the rear they are not the most flattering! Then again, the pictures that count, the one's with the fish in it, it's not your rear that's in the picture. Going up a size the waders were really too big, so all in all it's really not an issue.

The pants are quite durable as I have had my for several years. Mine show very little wear at all. I think I'll be using these for quite some time to come. Redington really does make some of the best waders out there.
