Nice Wading Socks

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I recently bought my new fly fishing setup, and these wading socks worked well for me, they didnt run as large as some of the other reviews, but I do wear a size 14 wide shoe so I was relieved to have these fit well! They clip on the top of the opening attaches easily to the laces to stay secure, all in all I would recommend sizing down if you dont have squatch feet

Siding with the masses

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I agree with other reviews that these are oversized. I wish they made these in an xs or xxs for the ladies! I ordered the small, I wear a mens 6.5 so I expected them to have some extra room. I work with it and they are quite comfy and work great on hot fish days, as opposed to water shoes. My buddy borrowed these and he wears a 10 and the small fit well for him. They do the job and for the price you cant go wrong.

Yes, they are oversized

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I do agree with the first 2 reviewers about the size. My wading boot is size 8 so I ordered the Medium for size 8-9. When they came, I put the on and they were a tad larger than I expected and filled in the boots tightly.

I will go along with what the other guy said - I was really surprised how over sized these came. My wading boots are size 9, so I went with a small... they are large around the ankles and the actual booty is about an inch too long. I used them for the first time this past weekend and found that if I pull them all the way up, to about my knee then the gravel doesn't get in, but then my laces on my boots come undone.

On the positive side, they are thin and lightweight, which is good to keep you cool, they're inexpensive and helpful when its 90 degrees outside and the waders kick your butt.

Little loose...

So now with the hot days beating down on us the last thing i want to do is sweat my goods off in waders. I LOVE wet wading, I got these and was stoked at first but when I put them on I was bummed. I am not known for having manly legs so I got the medium going off of the shoe size chart. I may try a small for these are loose around the leg and do not block the gravel. So if you have skinny legs like me size down. The construction is solid and they are very comfy, but again go down a size with skinny legs.
