Hi there
Should my son size up? He wears a size 4.5 - 5 shoe. Will he take the size 6 boot, if he gets the size 8-10 Crosswater waders? Thanks!

Responded on

Hey Brad,
Just based on your son's foot size he may be better off in the 12-14 crosswater waders. To answer your question, I always go up in size at least 1 size in my wading boot size than my street shoe size. It allows for the thinker neoprene stocking foot waders to fit without being uncomfortable.

Great boots for small feet

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Struggled to find decent wading boots for my son's 9 year old feet. While I can't comment on how they feel on his feet he's had no complaints and no slips in the river yet. That gets a 5-star review in my book. He has about 8 fishing days into these boots
