Description

Push your riding to the next level when you put your protected ass on the line in the Total Impact Short.

Slide on the CE Certified RED Total Impact Short before you ride because you never know when your hindquarters will meet up with the rock lurking under the snow and ruin the best powder day of the season. This short features d3o Flo Impact material imbedded in the hips, thighs, and tailbone to keep you out of the gurney after big falls on table tops and encounters with hidden hazards in the woods. The d3o Flo Impact material is flexible and unrestrictive while you ride but reacts when impacted to provide a rigid barrier that absorbs forces from the biggest falls. The short slides on easily with side loop pulls and stays put thanks to an elastic waistband. To keep you dry, the short is constructed out of moisture-wicking mesh so you don’t wonder what that wet feeling is before you attempt another cork 7 over the halfpipe.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Tried these pair of shorts on in the store to see the fit and comfort and ended up going with another pair of shorts. The shorts itself is comfortable and allows for a full range of motion, but its the d3o protection pads that was not executed correctly. The d3o in the butt area is uncomfortable to sit on and dug into meaty buttox. Def wont be comfortable for chair lifts or falls for that matter

I went for the jump and landed on my tailbone. Needless to say I bought some ass protection quick after that. These def do the trick!

these are great for the park and the mountain. They don't restrict you at all and you won't regret getting these because let's face it.. its better to leave the snow on the mountain instead of packing it all into your a$$ when you over shoot that double back flip you were going for...

I know that "smart" plastics are the "thing" nowadays but I still prefer the older RED Total Impact Shorts with teh removeable plastic to these. I notice hip checks and impacts in this style short more than I do in the older hard plastic style.

This thing makes it so your buttocks doesn't get hard packed like the landing you yard sale on.
