Red Mutiny II Helmet - 2010 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
Lead the charge in the park, and huck your meat with confidence while wearing the vented, military-style RED Mutiny II Helmet. This helmet’s durable polycarbonate shell helps keep your brain attached as you fall headfirst all over the rail garden, and the hidden Airvanced Ventilation system lets you control the flow of air into the Mutiny II with adjustable vents.
- Low-profile design widens your field of vision so you can see the landing and stomp it
- Removable ear pads keep your lobes toasty despite the army of snow guns pointed onto the hill
- Undercovered design means you can dial in the helmet’s fit to accommodate a beanie and goggles underneath
- Abbreviated brim adds flavor and keeps snow out of your goggle vents
- Goggle gasket and removable goggle clip secure your eyewear while you ragdoll down the landing
- Co-developed with Anon, thus eliminating the possibility of a gaper gap when you put on your Anon goggles
- REDphones audio-accessory-compatible so you can blast your obscenely dope tunes into your skull all day long
Bottom Line: A stand-out design for comfortable brain cushioning.

Definitely fits better than my old helmet, but I don't think I can live with the old yeller and the blue colors. It doesn't give you that bobble-head look and doesn't sit super high up on your dome like most helmets do. Not sure if that compromises the protection?? Going to try to find the flat black color in a large size. Not an easy thing to do this late in the season. No one seems to have it and I have looked at many different suppliers. The black large is pretty much sold out. I don't think Burton realized what a good and popular helmet they made?
Yellow color

pic is bad so it looks more green. Helmet is definitely a true yellow, just wanted to show how glossy it was and not matte like the default picture.

Gettin whacked in the head and losing your smarts is not the in style this season. I like the red mutiny because a) it doesn't press on my forehead like most other helmets, b) the bill keeps water out of my goggles, and c) it looks good. I've rocked this helmet for some time, probably 200 days on hill, and it has never let me down. If you think helmets are uncool, then you must've hit your head. Safety first, and if you're feelin unsafe, always take a break, perhaps in the trees.

Saved my life
I bought this helmet at the beginning of the season. I used it for 35+ days on the hill. I had only had a few mishaps, but nothing major. Until day 35 more...
