Everytime I wear this helmet I thank god that i did cause i tend to hit my head alot...since Im just learning. The helmet absorbes all the impact, its definatly quality. The helmet was a little big at first but i added 1 of the extra padding strips it came with to the front and now it fits perfect. You can even fit a small beany hat on while wearing it.

Is this helmet compatible with a headphone/speaker set? My girlfriend has this helmet and loves it but wants to listen to music on the hill without using earbuds.

The sizes are the same, but the last(shape) of the helmet is going to be a little different. If you fit the mens large, then run the women's large.
reccomended

Does this helmet work with Bolle goggles? Can you close the vents on colder days?

I loves me this helmet! It's super light - you don't feel like you're even wearing a helmet because the inside is so soft. It also covers your ears and soft lining is warm so I didn't have that itchy wool thing going on that I always get from my wool hats.
It's also cool looking. I got white with a the pink skull and flowers. My daughter got one first and l liked her's so much I bought one, then got one for my sister.
Aqua color

Imagine even more rich/saturated green color. My camera did not capture it like it is in real life (just as the stock photo above didn't capture the green).

I ordered the aqua one, and the white pattern just so I could have options. The aqua came in today, and there is no hint of blue at all. I would call it a soft green. I tried it on though and it super comfy and warm! Definitely recommend it. I'll upload a picture cause it's hard to describe the color. Other than the color (which I knew was different from reading other reviews), the helmet totally rocks.

Bought this for my girlfriend- she totally loves it. Super comfy and a cool pattern too (got the white pattern color)- there are things hidden in it we didn't notice for awhile. Love the chin strap as it clicks in to tighten, and the padding is really comfy. Definitely recommend. Fits with Dragon DXS goggles way better than anything else we tried for her small face/head.

This is my first helmet purchase for my first big skiing excursion to Jackson Hole. Great fit, very warm (almost too warm for March), and very light. I never noticed it when I was riding. Great experience with a helmet...too bad I won't get the opportunity to wear it much in Kentucky :(
Hi-Fi II, not the Hi-Fi

What is pictured is actually the RED Hi-Fi II, which has slightly different construction and a slightly different shape. If you are ordering this expecting it to fit like your old Hi-Fi, you are probably going to have to return it. The old one fit me perfectly, this one gives me some pressure points. A helmet that fits like the old RED Hi-Fi is the Giro Shiv. Check it out. You can tell the difference by the shape, number and style of the vents at the top of the helmet. Otherwise, it's a light helmet that does the job well.

I bought a HiFi this year for myself so it was only natural that I had to buy one for my lady friend! She loves it. Fits great and is warm. Her favorite part is how light it is. She can barely feel it on. Thanks Backcountry for keeping her head together! :)

So, I've been looking at the Burton Zebra Escapades.....then realized that I should probably start wearing a helmet......Then I googled and came across this helmet....What a kick ass combo! Does anyone have this helmet and the zebra escapades? Do the blue colors match? Or, are they way off?

I returned this helmet because the color in person is really not the color it looks on the computer. The helmet honestly kinda looked cheap (because of the color!).
